Archie Deese has made service, quality and knowledge the hallmarks of The Paint Doctor since he started the company in Atlanta a decade ago. The company has grown every year, in up and down markets. No matter the scope of project, the Paint Doctor has become the painting contractor for the City's premier interior designers and decorators, commercial contractors, major construction firms, government agencies, and residential clients who value the excellent craftsmanship and service the Paint Doctor provides.

Any client who meets Archie quickly sees that along with his friendly demeanor, he is passionate about perfection and possesses a business savvy honed from years of working as a financial analyst and business consultant after earning his degree in finance from the top-ranked University of Michigan.

"I have a lot of energy and never stop," says Archie. "I am always pushing the boundaries, moving forward, and searching for new and better ways of doing things."

Archie also appreciates that new paint or wall coverings offer homeowners the most economical way to transform a house or building. "New paint can make an old house fresh and new, or a dated house look current," he says.

Archie is a member of the International Furnishings and Design Association, American Society of Interior Designers, and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.

When he's not working, Archie can be found at home in downtown Atlanta with his family.

An expert in wallcovering installation, John started installing wallpaper professionally May 1979, apprenticing with a friend who was an experienced installer. He began installing wallpaper in existing residential properties through the referrals of satisfied customers and through retail wallpaper stores.

During the Atlanta building boom of the eighties, John worked for numerous new home builders. Gradually he began installing wallcoverings for interior designers as well as high-end home remodelers/ contractors and of course continued to enjoy referrals from residential customers.

John has been a member of the National Guild Professional Paperhangers (NGPP), a trade organization for installers, since 1995.

In 2002 John joined The Paint Doctor, where he handles all estimating and installation as it pertains to wallcovering.

As the Office Manager at The Paint Doctor since November 2009, Dixie has kept the office humming by handling customer relations and implementing new technology programs to streamline operations. Her duties are a natural extension of the two decades she spent in the printing business where she juggled multiple projects on deadline while keeping customers and vendors happy despite rush orders or unexpected delays or changes. Even with her experience in customer service, she was deeply impressed by The Paint Doctor employees who painted her own home before she joined the company. "They worked exceptionally well together, painted with precision, and never left a mess," she said. What does she love most about working for The Paint Doctor? "We can help people feel fresh and new with just a few strokes of color in or on their homes," she says.
